Description

If you’re considering the purchase of this vintage Mid-Century walnut headboard and footboard, you won’t be disappointed! This is the perfect piece to complete your space. The wood side rails and five slat supports will be included. The frame is a nice solid structure. Cosmetically, this does show minor wear indicative to age and use. The top board on the footboard has a slight bow, this does not detract from the overall appearance or function of the piece. This has not been restored, the wood has been thoroughly cleaned, the exterior has been conditioned and polished.

Please note that the headboard was staged with a “Bunkie Board”, (see photo) and mattress.  I would recommend purchasing a platform support or bunkie board to use with your mattress. The vintage headboards from the 60’s have a tendency to get swallowed up with today’s big box spring and mattresses. The “Bunkie Board” shown is NOT included. The headboard comes with foot-board, side rails and slats only.

This headboard measures perfectly to fit a full size mattress.
