Shipping + Policies
We do offer refunds on a case by case basis; no refund will be given if you just happen to change your mind about your purchase. All items are described in detail, however; if something is overlooked please be sure to contact us within 7 days if there happens to be a flaw that wasn’t disclosed in a description, otherwise a return will not be accepted. The buyer pays for return shipping. A refund will be sent as long as item is returned intact as it was when item was shipped.
The buyer is solely responsible for setting up furniture shipments, we often help with setting up this process by recommending a company that has a contract with UShip, you can either go through UShip and request shipping on your side of the transaction (Uship allows you to bid on what you want to pay for shipping. Just link my item or copy it for UShip) or you are welcome to contact me directly to get you a quote from the driver and deal with them directly. This is a blanket wrap service, they offer white glove as well at an extra cost. Upon request. All shipping payments are to be made directly to the shipper, we do not handle freight shipping funds.
There are some items that can be shipped through Greyhound Package Express upon request, these items will be delivered to the station nearest to the address provided with payment. If item is shipped by Greyhound please provide phone number so they can call you for pick up or arrange door delivery. Greyhound uses a third party to deliver to your door for additional fee. Greyhound Package Express is reliable and fast.
Insurance is included on all items being shipped through USPS, FedEx, or UPS. Every item has insurance when shipped no exceptions. If in the event something gets damaged, you will have to apply for the insurance, please contact us here so we can assist you through the process. The shippers request proof of damage. The package will need to be photographed as well as the item that was damaged.
Alternative shipping options are available. International shipping is available on most small items. Just ask. Canada buyers pay about 35% more in shipping fees then the US. Everywhere else it is at least 50% more and up.
If I have overcharged on the shipping fee more than $5.00 I refund it.
FOR ALL LARGE FURNITURE ITEMS
If you purchased furniture be sure to stay in contact with me about the details in regard to your shipment. You will need to provide me with the shipper’s name and contact number so I can be available at the time of pickup. I am happy to help assist you through this process, however; shipping is strictly between you and the company of your choice, the shipment is the buyers and the shipper’s responsibility. If your furniture is lost, stolen or damaged the claim is to be taken up with the shipping company, Iconic Mid Mod Décor & Restoration is not responsible for your item or items once the product is shipped.
Curbside delivery is available in certain parts of the Kansas City Metro area. If you are eligible, you may select your delivery option at checkout.
