Mid Century Bachelor’s Chest For Drexel Declaration by Kipp Stewart
This Mid Century 3 Drawer Bachelor’s Chest is in original vintage condition. This was designed by Kipp Stewart and Stewart MacDougall for Drexel’s Declaration Collection, circa 1960’s. The drawers feature brass and porcelain hardware. The inside top drawer has the maker’s stamp (by Drexel) and an additional maker’s mark stamped on the back. This is a showstopper, a timeless style that can easily blend with any decor or furniture design. It’s designed beautifully on a recessed base that is supported by gorgeous round tapered legs. The recessed base conveys a “floating “effect which makes this piece stand out from so many other styles today.
This chest is an ideal size, it’s a piece that could easily be a great addition to any space. It can be used in an office, foyer, living room, dining room or bedroom.
The structure is solid. The chest is manufactured with walnut inlay, all the drawers are dovetailed and glide nicely. You will not be disappointed.
We are offering several additional pieces of the Drexel Declaration line. Each piece is listed separately: Floating Nightstand, Floating Nightstand, Twin Headboard, King Headboard, Double Dresser, Triple Dresser, Gentleman’s Chest, Single Nightstand, and Mirror.
