Vintage Mid Century “SUBURBIA” Sculpted Headboard

Vintage Mid Century “SUBURBIA” Sculpted Headboard

This Item has SOLD!

This vintage Mid-Century walnut headboard was manufactured by Montgomery Ward from their Premier “Suburbia” line.

The structure is solid, cosmetically this does show minor wear indicative to age and use. The headboard has been thoroughly cleaned, the exterior has been conditioned and polished.

The headboard was staged with a bunkie board (see photo) and mattress. I would recommend purchasing a platform support or bunkie board to use with your mattress. The vintage headboards have a tendency to get swallowed up with today’s big box spring and mattresses. The bunkie board shown is not included. The headboard comes with foot-board and side rails only.

This headboard measures perfectly to fit both queen or full size bed frames. You would need to purchase a universal bracket that the headboard could attach to for the size frame that you would use.
