Signed and dated 1959, this is an all original oil painting by artist Melissa Ellis Zink. This was painted in her early years at age 27 while married to her first husband William Howell. She and Mr. Howell owned a framing shop in Kansas City and later moved to Denver for some time. Melissa divorced Mr. Howell in 1973 and remarried in 1975 to Nelson John Zink.
