This vintage Mid Century nightstand was manufactured by American of Martinsville; this is one of their rare designs by Merton Gershun that I take my hat off to! You may not stumble upon this iconic piece again. Since the back is finished, this can be placed in an open space, there’s no putting this baby in the corner!
The top surface has been beautifully restored. The chrome base will be sure to catch someone’s eye, it’s worth taking another look at, it’s simply beautiful!
The rarity of this nightstand is to be determined, as I cannot find any others like it for resell. This features two drawers, it has an appearance of three, but the bottom drawer is a deeper double drawer.
