Feast your eyes on these guys! It’s not often you find a matching floating rosewood case sofa and loveseat designed by Milo Baughman for Thayer Coggin. “Mad Men” fans, Don Draper would snatch these up! Just look, these still have the original Jack Lenor Larsen fabric! They have been used and appreciated for over 40 years, you can expect these to show wear from use, they need some minor restoration and some fine TLC!
We couldn’t bring ourselves to strip these of their original upholstery, we’ve decided to sell them as a pair, all original and let the new owner decide to have them restored or not. The fabric was dry cleaned almost 4 years ago, these have been covered for the most part unless entertaining. I honestly think the upholstery has a lot of life left.
The sofa and love seat should have newer springs or strap supports put in at some time, the springs are slightly weak on one side of the love-seat, and the sofas springs appear to be weakening under one of the cushions. These are from a pet and smoke free home. These could be used in their current condition for many more years.
