MID CENTURY RAYMOND LOEWY STYLE CHEST AND 2 NIGHTSTANDS
This 70’s-bedroom set has been freshly restored. The chrome accents and white formica laminate top surface makes this a durable design that will withstand many more years of use.
This design is attributed to Raymond Loewy style. The pieces feature bright yellow plastic molded fronts with chrome accents along the edge of the front face and wraps along the top edge as well.
The exterior was finished to allow the beautiful grains of the wood to be displayed throughout the piece. Originally, the finish was sprayed with a thick heavy toner that concealed the grains. In order to provide this set with a fresh new look we thought it was best to allow the wood grains to be appreciated throughout the finish. The texture, color and overall feel of these finished pieces will make a fabulous addition to any space.

We have taken much time into restoring this set and feel it is in great vintage condition for the age. The structure is solid, you can expect minor age-appropriate wear to the exterior due to use along the metal trim, the laminate surface does have some light scuffs but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance of the set. The paint that is on the metal pulls does show some wear from use over the years, please be sure to view all photos.
I would highly recommend the interior of the drawers to have an added liner placed in the bottom of all the drawers. They have been cleaned; however, there are a few that have some rather worn areas from previous use and the damage/stain could not be removed.
